Christmas Gift Drive 2021
One of our target communities this year is the community of Zandspruit. For many children in this neighbourhood, Christmas is not a happy time. Rather than experiencing the joy many other children get to experience, these children have to go without. We have the chance to make a difference in these children’s lives by giving them gifts of basic essentials, supplies for their schooling, and educational toys. We also present the message of hope in Christ in a fun, interactive and engaging way, making use of costumes, drama, songs and puppets.
Impophomo works with schools and pre-schools within the community on an ongoing basis, in support of early childhood development. Building into these long-standing partnerships, we will be inviting children and teachers to the presentation at Emtonjeni on the 3rd of December.
In addition, through our ongoing partnerships with the staff and ministry team at Helen Joseph Hospital, we are planning to distribute gifts to the young patients in the Children’s Ward of the hospital on the 15th December.
Alongside is the list of gifts we will be collecting through our partnership with the congregation of Northpoint City Church.
