Christmas Gift Project

Christmas Gift Project 2019

Impophomo’s annual Christmas Gift Project supports education in Zandspruit and provides learners with hope, joy and basic needs each year at Christmastime.

Each year children and scholars respond with joy as they receive provisions the would otherwise go without.

Christmas Gift Project Charity

We work with reputable primary and pre-primary institutions with whom we foster ongoing and accountable relationships.

The community of Zandspruit faces huge economic challenges, with residents dealing with difficult living circumstances every day. Hundreds of schoolgoing children have no hope, no sense of belonging and in many cases, very limited living space, toiletries and school supplies. We call on individuals, corporates and church members to get involved and support this initiative which gives joy at Christmastime.

Please donate Toys, Toiletries, Treats, Stationery and other supplies into our collection point at Northpoint City Church. A full list of items and banking details for financial contributions are available in the poster alongside the text on this page.

Our main beneficiary is disadvantaged schools in the community of Zandspruit. The primary gift distribution event will take place on the 3rd of December at 10am. Secondary distribution events will take place in disadvantaged communities in the East Rand on the 29th of November and the 1st of December. All are welcome to join us and our corporate sponsors at these events: contact us for more info.

Over years of investing into the Christmas gift project, we have been able to bring benefit to the lives of hundreds of scholars. Here is the feedback video from our 2017 Project:
