Illegal Evictions Zandspruit – 9 July 2014

Early in the morning of 9 July 2014, 25 families were evicted from their shacks in the informal settlement of Zandspruit, this happened as the year before, on one of the coldest days experienced this winter, when temperatures plummeted to below zero!

Impophomo was once again able to come to their rescue, providing much needed food & blankets, as these families were left completely stranded and without any means of looking after themselves or their children.
